Sir Edmund Hillary
Sir Edmund Hillary was born on 20 July 1919 . He is born in Auckland.
He has one brother and one sister he has a mum her name is Gertrude Hillary and his dad's name is Percival Augustus Hillary He also had to daughters and one son he had a wife that is could Louise Mary Rose but she died in a plane crash. When he was young he went to Tuamotu primary school and grammar school he also went to secondary school as well. When he was grown up he worked for mountain climbing. Sir Edmund Hillary decided to climb mount Everest so that he can be the first one to climb that mountain which he was . He climbed mount Everest on the 29 of May 1953. The person that helped him was Sherpa tenzing norgay. It took him seven weeks to climb mount Everest.
